First Light provides in home daytime newborn care to families across the Charlotte area. The practice is entirely perinatal: every family served is in the period from birth through the first year, with the majority of care concentrated in the newborn weeks. Care is delivered by a Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula credentialed through the International Doula Institute, with eight years of doula practice and five years focused specifically on newborn care.
