Instead, MBB strives to simplify your access to local resources and practitioners so you can focus your energy on what matters most: you and your baby.

The Fertile Ground Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for and supporting women and families battling infertility. Infertility is impacting families all across the world and we are here to help provide resources and support through advocating, educating, and grant assistance. Providing engagement and support locally and around the country with the establishment of Chapters that will allow a more intimate setting to address the mental, physical, and emotional impacts of infertility.

By creating a village of support for our local children in foster care and those caring for them, Foster Village Charlotte meets urgent needs, provides educational and emotional support, and advocates for lasting change in the welfare system. We exist to stabilize foster families, leading to better retention of high quality homes and a decrease in disruptions for children that yields increased attachment and healthier long term outcomes.

Galia is a wife, mother of three, an early childhood educator who has worked for the past 21 years in different preschool settings of infant /toddler rooms, and a CAPPA certified postpartum doula. Accompanying a close friend during her postpartum days made Galia realize that many new parents in the Charlotte area may lack the opportunity to have an empathetic, non judgmental, supportive individual present during that first crucial period. That resulted in her career change. Her professional knowledge and experience in early childhood education, professional training in postpartum care and support, makes her the perfect person for you to have by your side after bringing home your baby. My first priority is to hold the mom, when everyone else wants to hold the baby. Helping her heal and rest while providing emotional support, newborn care, light household keeping and nourishment for the whole family.

Pilates is a great resource for both pre and postnatal mamas. Here is a few ways Pilates can help: 1. Pelvic floor connections and strengthing are a part of the work in Pilates. 2. Pilates strengthens posture issues resulting from during and after pregnancy, 3. Exercise lifts moods and can benefit those suffering from postpartum depression. 4. My private studio allows for new moms to bring baby along for a session if necessary and not have to worry about disturbing other clients.
